In 1965, after a long absence from the music scene, Ornette Coleman recorded a two-volume live album with innovative rhythms and sonorities at the Golden Circle, a Stockholm jazz club. This marked the beginning of Coleman’s contract with Blue Note, representing a turning point in his career.
Four renowned Italian jazz artists were inspired by that legendary live performance: Rosario Giuliani, Fabrizio Bosso, Enzo Pietropaoli and Marcello Di Leonardo.

Antonio Faraò presents a preview of his latest album "Evan" (for official worldwide distribution in autumn) at the Duc des Lombards. A Jando Music and Cristal Records production, "Evan" was recorded with renowned artists Joe Lovano, Jack Dejohnette and Ira Coleman. Paris will host the preview performed by a first-rate French ensemble featuring Sylvain Boeuf on sax, Gilles Naturel on double bass and Jean Pierre Arnaud on drums.

Enzo Pietropaoli's Yatra Quartet (Julian Oliver Mazzariello on piano, Fulvio Sigurtà on trumpet, Alessandro Paternesi on drums and Enzo Pietropaoli on double bass) won the Top Jazz 2013 award as Best Group. Yet another recognition to this quartet and their albums (Yatra 1 and Yatra 2, produced by Jando Music and Via Veneto Jazz) that have received widespread acclamation by both critics and audiences. On 1 January 2014, the quartet will perform in Umbria Jazz Winter at the Teatro Mancinelli during the Musica Jazz award ceremony, Top Jazz.
